Well, nourishing words has been my forte ever since I have been acquainted with them. Today when I need to write about myself it is kind of reminiscing my childhood where inevitably you have to write an essay “Myself” and that too in a minimal capacity of words.
Hailing from Purulia I embarked upon as a cub reporter at the age of ten, in a journal named “KHUDE SANGBADIK” a popular fortnightly Bengali children’s magazine, edited by illustrious ‘Swapan Buro’ aka Akhil Neogi. And the journey continues….
A Media professional with 32-years of proven proficiency & varied experience in Print, Radio, TV, Advertisement & Web. Had a long 12-yrs association with All India Radio in Kolkata & New Delhi. Later joined Zee News and played pivotal role for long 16yrs to set up, launch and establish several channels and business functions in the east including ‘24Ghanta’. Associated with Kolkata TV for 4yrs in the capacity of News Editor. Always embraced challenging assignments to achieve all possible heights and make positive contributions to the society, help others to build a unique identity in media industry and to develop a vibrant, credible, dynamic, futuristic & business friendly brand.

Infodemics or information disorder is a serious threat in this age of Digital doctrine. Now the role of media as a watchdog has been undermined and driven by biases, ideological leanings, geo-politics & business interests. It works to spread half-truths, disinformation and alternative facts. So, truth is a casualty in the current media ecosystem. Fourth Estate is now a conglomeration of propaganda model which serves the interest of certain groups. So, through this platform opening the windows for free opinion, solutions without any bias or interest to build a system, an environment of cooperation and peaceful coexistence for welfare of the people en masse.
